copyright/copyleft
generally, any websites provided by the generatrix of these pages are being manufactured on the basis of concepts, texts, documents and data produced by herself. in this very special case, the old boys linxx, the pages are based on references collected by the generatrix, as well as by other members of the old boys network in the course of cyberfeminist research as well as active old boys networking. both the choice of links (references) and the categories they are subsumed within are to be understood as one possible form of old boys networking, that is: they reflect a cyberfeminist standpoint and position committed to the principle of diversity (if not: dissent) practiced by the old boys network. however, dissent does not mean ignorance. therefore, in case you found a reference to your pages included and consider this practice as misleading, please mail to the linxxhostess and we will remove the link immediately.
in case the websites provided by the generatrix contain words, expressions, parts of words or parts of expressions that are trade-marked/protected trade-marks, the generatrix feels very sorry that she so far felt so free to consider these words, expressions, parts of words or parts of expressions to be part of her vocabulary. protected trade marks are part of the commercial right and underlying the ownership of those who protected them as trade-marks. from the mere fact they are named can not be concluded they are not protected as trade-marks by others.
whenever other material is being used, the generatrix is intending not to use any copyrighted material for the publication or, if copyrighted material is being used, to indicate the source and the copyright of the respective object.
anyway, the generatrix hopes it can not be concluded from this fact either that any use of words, expressions, parts of words or parts of expressions requires the previous consultation of the trade-mark registry. from the generatrix's personal point of view, this might end in a remarkable loss of the beauty and richness of language, not to name the loss for the beautiful human right of free speech.
[btw.: not long ago, the generatrix of these pages noticed in a supermarket nearby stockings named "verena". the generatrix is seriously upset, as she is continuously asking herself what may happen in case the company producing the stockings gets notice of the generatrix's homepspace (where most of the pages obviously are bearing the name "verena", too). of course human reason might tend to see no relation between websites and stockings. anyway: both are based on some kind of web. catastrophe? who knows. however, the generatrix of these pages is desperately waiting for friendly advice how to deal with the possible consequences of this sad coincidence...]
concerning the copyright for any material generated by the generatrix, it should be stated that for sure nobody will hinder you to copy, cut and past; however this is stupid and lazy in case you do not change anything. why duplicate a linxx-list which is already there?
of course the generatrix knows very well that it is definitely very easy to duplicate and/or to use any data published on the web. and without doubt the generatrix feels honored whenever concepts, texts, documents and data produced by her are considered worth to be published by others as well. anyway, this honor comes along with positive feelings only in case a use like this is being combined with a reference to the respective source(s), i.e. to link the old boys linxx pages or the old boys network itself at least. furthermore, honor and positive feelings will be enjoyed even more if the generatrix is being notified about any use of her concepts, texts, documents and data. as all the documents created by the generatrix do not only bear obvious signs of her generatrixship, but in most cases also contain her email adress, contacting her should be no serious problem.
